Super racing cock retired to stock loft for 2016. He was a 2 x 1st place winner. Flew 6 przs as yearling including 5th 300, 7th 300 and was 4th Ace Yearling in 2012 and 6th Ace Middle Distance. In 2013 as 2yr old was 2nd = 1st at 200 and was 6th Ace Long Distance and 5th Ace Overall. In 2014 as a 3yr old won 7th 400 and 1st 125. In 2015 as a 4yr old won 1st 125, 9th 200 and 8th 400 then retired for stock. |

A product of a late season pairing as I often put together my top cocks and hens with an eye to breeding young hens for the stock loft. Her pedigree is loaded with 400-500ml winners and long distance aces. Her sire WPG 3309-03, a real crack and Ace Pigeon and her dam is WPG 5779-03 is a daughter of an Ace and her grandfather was a 2 x Ace. 3309 in one season was my first bird 5 weeks out 7. He won 1st 400 and 2nd 400 (lost by 8 seconds, would not come in and sat out for almost 2 minutes) back to back. Won 1st Ace Long Distance and the following year was 5th Ace Long Distance then retired to stock. Sire to 2853, who was 9th 400 and 2nd by 31 seconds in a tough 500 flying 13 ½ hours. 2853 averaged 6 prizes a season. 3309 also bred a hen 2631 who won 1st Ace Speed Bird. 3309’s sire, WPG 9374-00 is a pre-potent breeder, siring not only 3309 but 6010, a hen who was 1st 400, 1629 who was 2 x 3rd 400 in 2012 and 1st Ace Long Distance, 2nd Ace Yearling, 3rd Ace Middle Distance, 4th Ace Overall, 9th Ace Short Distance, and race winner who averaged 6+ przs a season. 1630 who was just as good as his nest mate (1629) who as a 2yr old won 7 prizes in 7 races including, 2nd =1st 125, 1st 200, 6th 400 (12 hrs on the wing), 12th 400, 3rd Ace Long, 5th Ace Overall. |
