Lot 3. WPG 6182-16 CH C

Description

Combines two of our best lines of Devriendts. Several foundation hens in the pedigree and it shows in the vitality of this youngster.
 

Sire

OHF-5232-06
Bought 5232 on the advice of Chris Peeman stating that this bloodline is some of his best Devriendts. 5232 is sire of:

WPG 5966-09 & WPG 5967-09, two yb hens that we tested all out to the distance and they got better as the season wore on. They were in a tough 375ml race that saw only 5 day birds, 5967 was 5th and 5966 was on the board first thing in the morning with a loft mate taking 7th.

WPG 1737-10 as a yearling won 7 prizes, 7th Ace Short Distance, 1st Ace Middle Distance and 3rd Ace Yearling, as a 2yr Old continued a very good season including winning 5th at 400 mls before being lost on the last race of the season that was a smash due to smoke from forest fires along course.
 

Dam

WPG-5048-15
She was a very good yb racer winning several top prizes at 300 and 375 miles. Her sire is WPG 15607-06 Blue Bar Cock. Super flyer, as yearling with his nest mate WPG 15608-06 won 1st & 2nd 300mls. 15607 went on to fly 250-450 (7) more times never missing his prize, his last 3 races were 4th 300, 27th 400 and from the 450 was 3rd coming home from completely the opposite direction with thunderstorms the last 60 miles. Retired to the stock loft as as he flew so well being bred off a 1/2 bro/sis mating. His sire was a son of Ace Long Distance WIN 20309-92 and the pre-potent WIN 8508-95. His dam was none other than WIN 1077-96 a super breeder herself breeding winners with 3 different cocks and also a daughter of the pre- potent 8508. Her dam is WPG 2471-07 Bred for stock off our "Old WIN 6436-94" a VanWalleghem/Devriendt cock that has bred Ace Pigeons and has several of the top Aces in his background and a gift hen from Danny Gregoruks Devriendt futurity family that wins in the money races. 2471 bred well with 11833, which resulted in 2 of our best yrlngs, 6008 & 6098. With another cock she bred WPG 8942-11, 3 prizes in 3 races a yb, as a yearling won 7 prizes in a row, 6th Short Ace Bird, 7th Ace Middle Distance and 5th Ace Yearling, as a 2yr old in 2013 won an additional 6 prizes in a row in 6 races flown winning several top prizes including 1st 400 miles out in front by 22 minutes ahead of the next loft and 12th 400. He also won 1st Ace Bird Overall (to win Overall Ace, you have to submit the birds best 6 prizes won, 2 short distance, 2 middle distance (over 235mls) 1- 400mls or longer and 1 more of your choice. In addition he won 4th Ace Bird Short Distance and 2nd Ace Bird Long Distance.

WPG 2005-12, 4th Ace yb “A” series, 1st 300 miles and 6 prizes from 7 races flown along with nest mate, WPG 2006-12, 3rd Ace yb “B” series, 5 prizes in 6 races incl. 8th, 9th, 11th 12th etc. WPG 2006 was also a race winner in 2013 as a yearling. In 2014 another youngster, WPG 40761-14 was 8th Ace Young Bird in the “B” Series WPG 5123-15, won as a late bred yearling for Cal Murray 1st 400, 7th 400, 3rd 95 and will finish up near the top in the Ace Bird awards
