Empire Loft
After racing pigeons for 56 years I have retired from racing my birds. Old birds, 2015 was my last race series. I have had tremendous success over many, many years winning many Combine competitions at all distances and from several different loft locations. I have researched my results using the CU year books, I have gone back 30 years and produced a summary of my successes. I had many wins farther back but I think 30 years should give you a reasonable window into my success. The following summary lists COMBINE RESULTS ONLY, no club results are listed, I have only listed top 5 positions in Combine races, I have only listed 1ST positions in Combine Champion Loft Awards and 1ST positions in Average Speed Awards and I have listed my Combine results (top 5 only) in my favorite races, the 600 mile and 500 mile races.

I have had the pleasure of being the North American rep for Hans Eijerkamp & Sons for over 20 years and as a result had access to their best bloodlines. Through my association with the Eijerkamps I have also visited and in some cases, obtained pigeons from many of the top lofts in Holland and Belgium, fanciers like Roger Vereecke, Silvere Toye, Bert Camphuis, Raoul Verstraete, Janssen Bros, Houbon Family, Roger Desmet-Matthys, Etienne Devos, Willem de Bruijn, Ad Schaerlaeckens, Herman Beaverdam, Jack Vander Wegen, Martha Van Geel to name a few. |
